PEX Fittings: Couplings
PEX fittings couplings are basically the connectors that are primarily used for PEX to PEX connections. These PEX fittings are essentially used to tighten the corners, changing sizes in order to facilitate proper installations of the PEX tubing systems.One of the most basic types of coupling which is increasingly used in these tubing systems is the straight connector. The attachment is made on both ends using a "cinch" crimp or a regular crimp. There are various crimps available in various stores that facilitate the changing of size of the PEX used for numerous plumbing operations. Brass and plastic couplings are most commonly used in various PEX tubing systems. The plastic PEX coupling is principally being used in various plumbing operations for the purpose of testing the pressure.
