Taco 5003 valves are thermostatic valves which is why these valves are exceedingly used in applications that essentially require controlled and stable water temperature within the range of 85 degree Fahrenheit to 105 degree Fahrenheit. These valves are certified by the ASSE 1017 standards and are highly suitable for various radiant applications and domestic water purposes. These valves can also be used for various applications that involve flow rate variations. Some of the most striking features of Taco 5003 series valves are low headloss, tamper-proof cap, high flow and duality in application as these can be effectively used as both the diverting valve and mixing valve. Maximum inlet temperature of these valves is 210 degree Fahrenheit which is equivalent to 100 degree Celsius. The factory temperature setting of these valves is maintained at 130 degree Fahrenheit. Taco 5003 valves are made of nickel with internal components made of brass.
