Taco Differential bypass valve
Taco Differential Bypass Valve offers an exclusive feature of providing an accurate means to control the excessive flow in the zone systems. This flow is created when the demand for heat is decreased. The demand for heat decreases when the zone thermostats are fulfilled and also when their corresponding valves close down. This process causes the pump to force additional water throughout the remaining zones.
When the Differential bypass valve TACO 3196 is installed between discharge of system pump & one before the pump inlet, it ensures the regulated flow of path. It can either be installed in horizontal or vertical position however one needs to check the direction of the flow which is indicated on the body of the valve with an arrow. The valve provides the steady minimum flow throughout the system. It also meets the requirements of Building regulations 2001 (part L).
The unacceptable velocities are controlled with the regulated flow path. These valves can also be utilized to prevent the dead heat of circulator especially in systems where heat emitters are controlled with thermostatic radiator valves. It controls the heat transfer circulated to each zone while preventing the velocity noise. It enhances the overall performance of the system. Its body is made up of brass and its internal components are of stainless steel. The maximum pressure can be adjusted up to 200 PSI and maximum temperature up to 200 F. Its adjustment range varies from 0 - 7.5 PSI.
It utilizes an adjustable spring load seat that helps in opening and closing to permit the flow through valves. Its functioning is based on the system pressure forced to the valve seat and the valve set point. Its differential by pass valve also has submittal data sheet 101 -109.
